What you'll do
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be delivering the overall payroll operating process. This will include updating and maintaining payroll records, processing employee benefits and relevant schemes. Your work will be vital in making sure that payroll is completed accurately and on time for monthly pay-outs.
Your other responsibilities will include:
Monitoring salary changes and salary run in line with procedures control frameworks
Submitting monthly wage tax reports and the payment of wage tax to authorities
Providing payroll reporting to meet internal and external statutory obligations
Making sure all agreed payroll controls are in place before payroll is approved
The skills you'll need
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have experience as a payroll specialist. You’ll work well as part of a team, collaborating and building successful working relationships across the function. What’s crucial is your ability to work to high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll also need:
Experience in working with employees and HR partners at all levels
Good computer literacy and working knowledge of HR systems
A broad understanding of wage tax, social securities and legislation
Good benefits knowledge
