Job Summary: The HR Operations and Payroll Executive will oversee and manage all HR operations and payroll processes for our manufacturing facility. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of HR practices and payroll systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Payroll Management:
• Administer and process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.
• Calculate and process employee deductions, bonuses, and overtime.
• Maintain payroll records and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company policies related to payroll.
• HR Operations:
• Manage employee data and maintain up-to-date records in the HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
• Handle recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Assist in onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Administer employee benefits programs and handle queries related to benefits.
• Conduct regular audits of HR practices and records to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Support employee relations and address any HR-related concerns or grievances.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
• Prepare and submit statutory compliance reports (e.g., PF, ESI, PT).
• Assist with internal and external audits related to payroll and HR operations.
• Documentation and Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including contracts, performance evaluations, and leave records.
• Prepare and file necessary documentation for employee records and payroll processing.
• Other Duties:
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
• Provide support to HR team members and management on HR-related matters.
• Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in HR operations and payroll management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with [specific HRIS or payroll software, e.g., SAP, ADP, etc.].
• Understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Gujarat.
• Certification in payroll management or HR (e.g., CPP, PHR) is a plus.
