We are in search of a PC Technician based in Miami, Florida. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the IT industry. As a PC Technician, you will be tasked with various responsibilities, primarily focused on handling hardware and software systems. This role requires ample knowledge of various technologies and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.Responsibilities:• Handle installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.• Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.• Provide technical support across the company. This may be in person or over the phone.• Set up accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.• Test and evaluate new technology, including new systems and applications.• Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.• Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software resources.• Provide regular reports on helpdesk and tech support operations.• Participate in all hardware and software evaluations and maintain vendor contracts.
