Embedded Job Description
An embedded Engineer specializing in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. also perform specific tasks, such as controlling a device or providing a service.
Embedded developers responsible for creating the software that runs on embedded systems and maintaining and updating the software. You must have a strong understanding of hardware and software and be able to work with both including operating system and various development tool like compiler, Debugger simulator etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Working to create application and system that are Reliable, Efficient and Cost effective. Designing:
You will be responsible for designing and developing Embedded Software and Hardware Solution as per understanding system requirement & needs
Debugging:
You will be responsible Troubleshooting and Debugging Embedded systems Software & Hardware Issue etc.
Developing:
You will be responsible for developing Code and algorithms for Embedded
System.
Testing:
You will be responsible for Running Test to ensure the system meets the specified
requirement and it should be error free and verifying embedded system.
Skills Required:
Good Knowledge of Programming language Embedded C( Data type, Storage Classes, Array, Pointer, String, Functions etc).
Good Knowledge of Hardware Component and deeply understand
like Microcontroller (STM, Renesas, Texas Instrumentation, Microchip etc.), Memory, Power Supply, Communication System
Good Knowledge of hardware Communication protocol like I2C, SPI, UART and Software protocol like RTU Modbus and TCP/IP Modbus.
Good Knowledge of Internet Of Things(IOT) TCP-TP, MQTT, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, GSM-GPRS, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRA.
Good Knowledge of software and must be familiar with Software Engineer principle like flow diagram Design, Software Testing.
Good Knowledge of software Static Testing and Dynamic Testing.
Ability to troubleshoot and must be able to identify and resolve issue and ability to think outside box.
Must be detail Oriented and have excellent analytical and debugging skill.
Must be communicate effectively with other team member & work collaboratively with other developer to ensure successful project completion
