Seattle Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center (CBDC) is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team of world-class experts. In this role, you will provide high-acuity, patient-centered care within a nationally recognized program at the forefront of pediatric oncology and hematology. You will serve as a vital clinical partner, ensuring that our rigorous standards for safety and quality are integrated into every aspect of the patient journey.
Your Role at Seattle Children’s
As a Pediatric Hospitalist in the CBDC, you will be instrumental in bridging clinical management with a multidisciplinary care team, all while upholding the hospital's vision and philosophy.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Act as a central link between patients, attending physicians, nursing staff, surgical and medical subspecialists, and community providers to ensure seamless, integrated care.
• High-Acuity Clinical Management: Provide direct medical care for complex patients, ensuring that treatment plans are comprehensive, evidence-based, and aligned with the latest clinical research.
• Patient-Centered Excellence: Advocate for the patient and family experience, ensuring that quality standards are met from diagnosis through treatment and survivor care.

Required Education and Experience
MD Degree.
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children’s, and assigned medical center(s).
Required Credentials
Licensed as a Physician in the State of Washington or State within WAMI region.
Federal DEA Registration.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 3 months of hire (only if required for special privileges).
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Preferred
Experience in pediatric emergency medicine.
Compensation
$222,712 - $267,392 per year
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
