Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a HR generalist with operational and strategic experience to support the department in all things People & Culture.
You’ll positively and proactively coach our leadership and management teams to help support and develop our whole operation of 200+ team members.
What You Will Do
• Assist the running of the People and Culture department by supporting the People and Culture Manager and working with the P&C Administrator to develop and champion the people strategy.
• Support the day-to-day HR operation, including employee relations, performance management, absence management and the employee life cycle.
• Coach and support managers on employment law and best practice.
• Be responsible for recruitment of various roles and levels across the hotel, coaching managers on process and supporting the recruitment process from start to finish.
• Monitor and maintain reporting on time attendance, hours worked, compliance with visa restrictions.
• Build relationships across all departments and enable strong communication lines with supervisors and managers.
• Maintain a strong relationship with third parties including Universities, Colleges, Charities and Hospitality / HR Industry Networking events.
• Lead and take part in culture engagement activities to contribute to a happy working environment and promoting all of our employees to have fun and be themselves at work
