Our People & Culture Business Partner team work closely with operation leaders and the People and Culture team to drive workforce engagement, productivity and best practice outcomes. This is a great opportunity to align your own values and establish positive working relationships with your stakeholders across a number of homes in Queensland, providing impactful support and guidance on people issues.
About You
Demonstrated experience to provide sound HR generalist advice and deliver agreed people plans and improvement initiatives
Proven ability to develop strong relationships across the business at a variety of management levels
Strong influencing and coaching skills and an ability to adjust style to suit the audience.
Experience in providing advice and direction in organisational change processes on workforce, business improvement and in support of succession planning and retention strategies.
Ability to support and mediate the resolution of complex performance management and employee relations issues in a proactive manner to achieve positive outcomes.
Experience in interpretation of Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and Awards, and a strong understanding of the Fair Work Act.
Previous experience in the aged care or health care sector is desirable
Key responsibilities
Oversee a portfolio of homes across the region, which will require interstate travel from time to time.
Provide a balance of operational and strategic, responsive generalist support.
Coach, guide and advise people leaders on people issues and support to deliver items on the Business Plan for the Region that have people implications such as organisation design and restructures.
Respond to reactive business needs including case management, investigations, coaching of managers and general advice.
Build and sustain professional, collaborative relationships with management and employees.
Proactively support the development and delivery of effective best practice and Implement initiatives on the annual P&C Calendar.
