We are seeking an experienced People & Culture (P&C) Manager to establish and lead the HR function, bringing expertise in Talent Management, Employee Relations, and HR support. This role will be based at our Southbank Office on a Permanent Full-Time basis. The P&C Manager will be key in fostering a dynamic and innovative environment that drives growth and collaboration. This role involves developing and executing people strategies that align with business goals, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting talent development. All activities are in line with EPEC Group values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance and Governance

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all P&C practices.

Provide expert advice on employment law and workplace policies.

Oversee workplace investigations and performance management.

Performance and Engagement

Deliver and review competitive remuneration and benefits programs.

Drive performance management and coach managers in performance conversations.

Enhance employee lifecycle practices to boost engagement and experience.

People and Culture Strategy

Develop and implement P&C strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Partner with senior leadership to enhance people management capabilities.

Talent Development

Collaborate to attract, retain, and develop top talent.

Implement training and development strategies to support employee growth.

Mentor and build a high-performing HR team.

About You

Essential

A degree in Human Resources or similar

10+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior role.

Demonstrated leadership experience.

You have experience in working in a fast paced, high performance culture in a constantly evolving business.

You possess a strong knowledge of employment law and are confident in applying this knowledge.

Proven knowledge in ER/IR, legislative and awards interpretation.

Expert understanding of legal obligations and best practices.

Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

Experience coaching people managers, supporting employees and navigating employee relations concerns.

Ability to think critically and anticipate issues, proactively suggesting long-term solutions.

Excellent judgement and the ability to make sound decisions independently.

Ability and experience in working with and using data to make informed decisions.

Strong business acumen.

Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.

Strong written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Desirable

Additional certifications in Employment Law, Mediation, or Employee Relations.

Experience in the renewable energy sector or a related industry.

Proficiency in using LMS systems and tools.

Proven track record in driving diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
