About The Role
As a People & Culture Officer at Centacare NENW, you will play a pivotal role within the Corporate Services department. This Permanent Full Time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation's HR & Recruitment functions.
Key responsibilities and main tasks for this role include:
Assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Supporting employee relations, including grievance and disciplinary processes
Participating in the recruitment process, from advertising roles to conducting interviews
Coordinating onboarding activities for new employees
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases
Providing guidance and support to staff on HR-related matters
Contributing to the development of a positive organisational culture through various initiatives
Assisting with performance management processes
Conducting research and analysis on HR trends and best practices
Collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals and values

Remuneration
This position operates under the Social, Community, Home Care & Disability Award 2010 on a level 3 ($37.35-$40.05/hr). You can also enjoy tax-free salary packaging benefits, including:

What you'll bring
Proven experience in human resources and/or people and culture roles
Demonstrated knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office suite
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience in supporting employee relations, performance management, and recruitment processes
