In other words, you will play a key role in ensuring a stellar HR experience for our leaders and employees across Maersk Training and will have the opportunity to interact and work closely with the GLT. Reporting to the Global People Partner Lead.
Key responsibilities

You will get involved in all areas of the HR aspects and the primary responsibilities can be divided into i) Assisting with HR annual processes, ii) supporting the planning and execution of strategic HR projects and initiatives, and iii) developing and facilitating workshops and providing sparring to our business leaders) being a driving force in our internal communication.

Support on the implementation of the global People Strategy and the implementation and following use of Workday (guide employees and leaders in using self-service, manage data quality, perform transactions) and work on our internal communication.
Assist with development and roll out of HR processes to ensure maximum efficiency and scalability to support expected growth
Drive the implementation of new intranet platform
Prepare and drive communication to org. on various platforms
Assist with key talent management review, leadership development and employee development/career path development
Prepare and handle documents, i.e. archiving of employee documents where legally required, statutory filing of local documents, etc.
Assist with creation and implementation of HR-focused and company-based policies and procedures and advise employees and leaders in the interpretation of them
Update and implement onboarding and off boarding process
Keep organization charts current
Participate in recruitment processes
We are looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience from an HR and internal communication role, from similar mid to large sized organisation (preferably from a global organisation)
A passion for business partnering and for supporting leaders in delivering a great management experience towards our employees
Experience with the HR annual processes globally, including performance management, salary review, employee engagement, and talent review, ensuring these are aligned with the global HR plans and the message is consistent
Experience with change management, workshop facilitation, and individual coaching
A resilient personality that can cope with organizational complexity, change, uncertainty, and an HR set-up that itself is transforming
Analytic mindset, with an understanding of key drivers and indicators for organisation effectiveness
Knowledge of the most common agreements and laws, understanding the role HR plays in ensuring governance and compliance
Strong communication skills in English, including presentations and written communication

This role is based with our Maersk Training Services office in Chennai.
Maersk Training focuses on solutions for clients in oil & gas, maritime and wind industries. The company have invested heavily in building advanced simulators to provide realistic training and deliver more than textbook theory.
