APRA AMCOS is a vibrant and evolving organisation dedicated to fostering creativity and diversity in the music industry. As a member-based entity, we work closely with artists, industry professionals, and stakeholders to protect and promote the rights of music creators. APRA AMCOS advocates for the rights of music creators, promote their interests at all levels of government and within the wider community, and facilitates global representation through partnerships with affiliated societies worldwide.

About the Role:

As a People Relations Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting HR operations across the organisation. In this newly created opportunity, you will be able to make a significant impact in areas like recruitment, employee engagement, and diversity initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting discussions around restructuring, business cases, and reskilling/movement opportunities.

Acting as the go-to person for HR queries, recruitment, and talent acquisition efforts.

Handling general HR queries related to contracts, salaries, and leave, and managing initial conversations around performance management.

Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, and collaborating with the advocacy and marketing teams to enhance employer branding and engage potential talent.

Working with communication teams to effectively promote the brand on various platforms, including SEEK, LinkedIn, and social media.

To be successful, you will have:

Experience in HR administration, coordination, and recruitment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive internal and external stakeholder relationships.

A collaborative approach and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team environment.

A proactive attitude, with a focus on trust-building and mitigating risk.
