Great opportunity to join Youth Justice on an ongoing basis in Melbourne.
Support the System Performance and Workforce team through the provision of high quality, data driven reporting to contribute to evidence-based policy advice and operational decision making
Assist the development of significant youth justice system monitoring and data analysis projects
The Department of Justice and Community Safety is responsible for the statutory supervision of young people in the criminal justice system. Youth Justice provides strategic advice and delivers targeted interventions to address underlying causes of offending behaviour in children and young people, supporting rehabilitation to reduce reoffending and enhance community safety.

The Opportunity

Ongoing, full time position based in Melbourne.
VPS Grade 3 role: $79,122 - $96,073 per year plus superannuation.
Extract, collate and report on data from documents, spreadsheets and relevant systems.
Create and maintain templates and tools, administrative systems and processes to assist with the timely delivery of accurate reporting.
Support project coordination, coordinating briefs, planning and delivery of corporate processes.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in reporting, analysing or monitoring organisational performance, corporate or administrative functions, with an intermediate level experience in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

As our ideal candidate, though not essential, you will have:

Knowledge of government operating practices and processes
Experience using Business Intelligence reporting applications such as Power BI
Understanding of the execution of code to run reports.
A tertiary qualification in data, information technology, commerce, psychology, health science, criminal justice or other relevant discipline.
