Performance Engineering Team
Required Experience: 3+ Years
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated team of Performance Engineers to join our organization. This team will be responsible for ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our critical applications and systems. You will work closely with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and analyze performance tests, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and optimize system performance.
Responsibilities:
Performance Testing & Analysis:
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance tests, including load tests, stress tests, endurance tests, and soak tests.
Analyze test results, identify performance bottlenecks and root causes of performance issues.
Generate comprehensive performance reports with clear and concise findings and recommendations.
Work with development teams to implement performance improvements and optimizations.
Test Automation & Integration:
Develop and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and scripts.
Integrate performance tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous performance monitoring and regression testing.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor system performance using tools such as APM (Dynatrace, etc.), JVM monitoring, and log analysis (Splunk, etc.).
Troubleshoot performance issues and provide timely resolutions.
Database & System Monitoring:
Monitor database performance and identify potential issues.
Monitor system resources (e.g., CPU, memory, disk I/O) for virtual machines, cloud environments, containers (OpenShift), databases, and operating systems (Linux/Unix).
Data Manipulation & Processing:
Perform data transformations, substitutions, copying, manipulation, and message listening.
Develop and implement data generation and loading strategies for performance testing.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, Groovy).
Experience with SQL and database concepts.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., APM, JVM monitoring, log analysis).
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in performance testing.
