Qualifications
What skills do you need to have?
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
Account management experience; developing and overseeing the execution of account plans
Experience working in with commercial enterprises, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
Experienced in leading/orchestrating diverse v-teams.
Experience in being the trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers
Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / related field (or an additional 4 years’ experience in lieu of degree).
Responsibilities
The Account Executive is responsible for a portfolio of customers and sets the strategy, drives action and progress towards strategic objectives and value realisation, by solving for the customers business outcomes with multi-year goals.
They bring innovation and ideas, creating new initiatives for business value through technology capability towards AI and digital transformation.
They own the trusted CXO level relationships and deep networks in business and with Microsoft’s partner ecosystem.
The most successful Account Executives are resourceful, master orchestrators of virtual teams, exceptionally curious to listen and learn about their customers and their respective industry segments. They generate energy and focus across teams that contributes to elevate their customer’s business.
