About the role
Our Internal Crane Group currently requires a Crane Technician to join the team. Reporting to the Principal Crane Engineer, you will be required to carry out Periodic Third-Party Inspections (PTPIs) across Australia to assess the maintenance and repairs to the crane. Responsibilities include:
Higher level crane inspection
Detailed report writing based on findings using Microsoft Word and Excel
Documentation control
Liaise with customers
Make sure safety is paramount!
Partner with the Principal Crane Engineer to complete safety investigations
About your experience
We are on the lookout for a safety and initiative-focused individual with a strong work ethic, eye for detail, and ability to problem solve. The ideal candidate will have:
Mechanical trade or Electrical trade with strong Mechanical aptitude (dual trade desirable)
Crane experience / qualifications
Safety as a core value
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Understands maintenance strategies
Ability to identify and implement improvement initiatives
