Permanent Childcare Educator | St Albans
Journey Early Learning is seeking passionate and dedicated Permanent Educators to join our brand-new St Albans team.
Centre Overview:
Exciting News – Our St Albans Centre is coming soon!
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our brand new, purpose-built centre in St Alans, set to open in late September. Conveniently located near our existing services in central Melbourne, this new centre marks a significant step forward in our commitment to delivering high-quality education and care.
You will be part of our team from the very beginning!
About the role:
This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across Monday to Friday.
In this role, you will foster strong, positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider community. You’ll play an active part in guiding children’s learning and development, while also building your own knowledge and career. Supported by your Centre Leadership Team, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to excel as an educator at Journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children's individual strengths, interests and preferences
Design and implement activities to be included in children's developmental program.
Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment
About you:
You are a creative and passionate early childhood educator who thrives on creating engaging programs tailored to each age group. You work collaboratively and build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and your team
Key skills and requirements:
An ACECQA recognised Certificate III or higher
Experience leading and developing age specific programs and routines
An approved Working with Children Check (State Specific)
Current Asthma, Anaphylaxis and First Aid Certificates
