Summary:
The Personal Banker is responsible for providing personalized financial solutions to customers, managing accounts, and promoting bank products and services. They must build strong relationships with customers and meet sales goals.
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and goals
Provide personalized banking services and financial solutions to meet customer needs
Cross-sell bank products and services to existing and prospective customers
Open and manage checking, savings, and other types of accounts
Process loan applications and manage loan portfolios
Process and manage various financial transactions, including deposit and withdrawal activities and wire transfers
Stay up-to-date on new banking products, services, and regulations
Meet sales goals and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Provide excellent customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with other bank departments to ensure smooth banking operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred
Prior experience in personal banking, customer service, or financial services a plus
Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulations
Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other banking software and systems
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to meet and exceed sales goals and achieve KPIs
