Candidates should be well-versed in defensive tactics, emergency response planning, and physical conditioning.
Personal Bodyguard Job Description
• Assess threats and analyse potential danger to the client
• Provide close protection to the client in public and private settings
• Accompany the client to and from locations and during events
• Implement and maintain security procedures
• Respond quickly to emergency situations, possibly using physical force
• Drive the client to various locations, if necessary
• Regularly inspect premises to identify potential security breaches
• Coordinate with other security personnel to ensure the client’s safety
• Conduct security detail before the arrival of the client at any location
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism

• Observation and attention to detail to identify potential security risks and quickly respond to emergency situations
• First aid and emergency response training to provide immediate care in the event of a medical emergency or physical altercation
• Ability to operate and maintain security equipment such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and safety devices
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills to make split-second decisions in high-risk situations.
• Discretion and professionalism to respect the privacy of the client and maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations to ensure all actions taken are legal and within the rights of the client and bodyguard
• Assess security measures and potential risks to determine necessary action
• Implement safety precautions to ensure the security of clients
• Plan travel routes to avoid potential threats or dangerous situations
• Remain vigilant and constantly aware of surroundings
• Respond to emergencies quickly and efficiently
• Maintain a high level of physical fitness
• Provide close protection to clients without invading their privacy
• Accompany clients to public and private events
• Report any security breaches or unusual incidents
Qualifications
• Proven work experience as a personal bodyguard or similar role
• Proficiency in defensive tactics and physical combat
• First aid and CPR certified
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Ability to use security equipment and tools
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in security or law enforcement would be a plus
