Private Chef (Contract) – NYC Meal Prep Company
NYC Meal Prep is hiring experienced private chefs to join our growing team in New York City! This is contract work paid $125 per cooking session, where you’ll travel to clients’ homes and prepare custom meals.
Position Details:
$125 per session (up to two clients per day)
Fixed schedule – most clients require meal prep Sunday–Tuesday
In-home cooking across NYC – all meals prepped on-site
Must have a culinary degree and professional cooking experience
Must have a valid NYC Food Handler’s Permit
Ideal Candidate Is:
Clean, tidy, and respectful of clients’ spaces
Organized and able to follow client preferences
Great at communication and comfortable interacting with clients
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Requirements:
Must be located in a reasonable distance from Manhattan. Almost all of our clients are in Brooklyn or Manhattan.
Certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent in past experience
Background in Nutrition or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years of kitchen and cooking experience.
