We are a top national plaintiffs' firm is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney motivated to advocate for those injured due to corporate misconduct. Our firm is known for handling complex, fast-paced cases involving multiple defendants and achieving substantial settlements and verdicts. We foster a collaborative, open-door environment and require in-office presence to maintain this dynamic based in our Emeryville location.
What You'll Do
As an Associate Attorney specializing in Mesothelioma cases, you will:
• Case Management: Take charge of all aspects of asbestos litigation, including managing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and participating in trials as a second chair. While prior experience in these tasks is appreciated, it is not mandatory.
• Client Interaction: Engage closely with clients, offering empathy and building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds who are undergoing challenging times. Your ability to connect with clients is crucial.
• Travel Requirements: Frequent travel is necessary to meet with clients, attend depositions, and participate in trials.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as part of a team, advocating for injured clients and ensuring they receive the best possible representation.
Qualifications
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited institution and admission to the California bar
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities
• Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain client relationships
• Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to plaintiff work with sound judgment and integrity
Benefits
Base Salary + Annual Bonus': $125K-$250K

• Health Savings Account: Monthly contributions of $250 for individual coverage and $500 for family coverage.
• 401(k) Plan: Firm contributes a minimum of 3% of eligible wages each year.
