Pet Handler | Driver |Casual position|

At Jetpets our core focus is pet travel, customer service and welfare. Our team of pet-loving experts transport pets both domestically and overseas to reunite pets with their families year-round.

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Casual Pet Handler / Driver to join our team in Perth specifically to focus on early evening support throughout the work week and weekend work is involved.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for pet handling, driving and crate building. This position is based in our Perth Transit Lounge with the requirement to go between our Jetpets facility, the airport and client properties for deliveries and collections.

Skills and experienceC

In order to be successful, you will need to possess the following key selection criteria:

A love of animals and professional animal handling experience is essential

A professional customer service-orientated approach to work

A full drivers licence and safe driving record - probationary drivers will not be considered

Confidence and experience driving long hauls (where required)

Ability to work autonomously when required

Ability to work flexible hours

A strong and professional work ethic and excellent attention to detail

Additionally, you will have an energetic and positive nature and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team

Capable to look after the animals within our care with some lifting involved
