Job Description: PFT Technician
We are seeking a skilled PFT Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in performing pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volume, and diffusion capacity testing. The PFT Technician will be responsible for conducting diagnostic testing, analyzing results, and providing accurate reports to the physician.
Responsibilities
• Perform pulmonary function tests, including spirometry, lung volume, and diffusion capacity testing.
• Conduct diagnostic testing on patients referred by physicians.
• Analyze test results and provide accurate reports to the physician.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
• Educate patients on the testing process and answer any questions they may have.
• Maintain accurate records of all tests performed.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a PFT Technician.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in performing pulmonary function tests.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
