Teaching students about financial reporting standards such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Providing individualized instruction to students who are struggling with material or whose needs are not being met by the standard curriculumCreating lesson plans and maintaining records of student progress on academic projectsAssisting in the development of new programs, curricula, and materials based on changing education requirementsTraining new hires on company policies and procedures pertaining to accounting, finance, or taxationConducting staff meetings to ensure that teachers are meeting their professional development goalsAssigning homework and grading tests, quizzes, and other assessmentsPreparing reports summarizing students’ progress and evaluating their performanceDeveloping lesson plans based on state and national standards for educational content
