Job Description
Qualification & Experience: M.Sc (Chemistry), B.Ed with above 60% marks. Teaching experience of atleast 2 to 3 years in a CBSE School.
Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development: Designing and developing the curriculum for Chemistry in accordance with the CBSE and Pre-University guidelines and syllabus. This involves planning the scope and sequence of topics, selecting appropriate textbooks and supplementary materials, and preparing lesson plans.
2. Classroom Instruction: Conducting regular classroom sessions to teach Chemistry to students. This includes explaining concepts, demonstrating experiments, facilitating discussions, and providing examples and exercises to enhance understanding.
3. Assessment and Evaluation: Creating assessments, tests, and examinations to evaluate students' knowledge and understanding of Chemistry. Grading and providing feedback on assignments and tests, and maintaining accurate records of students' performance.
4. Individualized Instruction: Identifying the learning needs and abilities of individual students and adapting teaching strategies to meet their requirements. Providing additional support or challenges as necessary, and addressing any learning difficulties or gaps in understanding.
5. Laboratory Management: Supervising and conducting practical laboratory sessions to demonstrate and reinforce theoretical concepts. Ensuring proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and safety measures during experiments.
6. Student Progress Monitoring: Monitoring and tracking students' progress in Chemistry through regular assessments and periodic examinations. Identifying areas of improvement and implementing appropriate interventions to support student learning.
7. Parent Communication: Regularly communicating with parents or guardians regarding their child's academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Attending parent-teacher meetings and addressing any concerns or queries raised by parents.
8. Co-curricular Activities: Participating in and organizing co-curricular activities related to Chemistry, such as science fairs, projects, workshops, and competitions. Encouraging students to explore the subject beyond the classroom and fostering their interest in Chemistry.

Professional Development: Engaging in continuous professional development by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs to stay updated with the latest developments in Chemistry education. Applying new teaching methodologies and integrating technology into the teaching-learning process.
10. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborating with colleagues and the school administration to contribute to the overall development of the school. Participating in departmental meetings, curriculum planning discussions, and sharing best practices with fellow teachers.

Salary: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
