Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) English Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English literature and language, and will be responsible for teaching English to higher secondary students (grades 11 and 12). The PGT English Teacher will create an engaging and effective learning environment that encourages students to achieve their academic potential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote critical thinking, reading, writing, and communication skills.

• Assess and evaluate students progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

• Prepare students for examinations and help them achieve their academic goals.

• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.

• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices and resources.

• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.

• Stay updated with current educational trends and developments in English literature and language.
