Job Description
We are recruiting for a research technician to join our laboratory in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of California, San Francisco.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting experiments using various techniques, including structural biology, membrane protein biochemistry, cell biology, and protein engineering. They will also be expected to analyze data, interpret results, and maintain accurate records and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and conducting experiments to understand fundamental mechanisms of transmembrane signaling within the human immune system
Characterizing B cell receptor and co-receptor complexes to elucidate how the strength of B cell signaling is regulated
Engineering cell-state-specific, modulatory antibodies that selectively target certain B cell subsets
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, applicants must have a degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field and previous laboratory research experience.
