Job Description
Basic drugs should be maintained.
Incoming and outgoing stock control should be controlled.
Expiry of medicines control should be followed.
Stock issue method should be followed. First in First method.
Expired drugs should be scraped before 3 months of expiry date.
Either it should be returned to the Distributor or it should be discarded.
Expired medicines should not come in circulation.
IV medicines should be Pyrogen free (toxic element which kills the human being)
Separate Register should be maintained for Scheduled Drugs (Medicines sold against Prescription)
Outgoing account for schedule drugs should be maintained.
Life savings drugs stock should be maintained according to the Grade of Hospital – Primary or Secondary – Tertiary
Drug purchase control should be taken care.
Perform any other job assigned by the management as per exigencies of work.
