Roles & Responsibilities:
• Verify prescriptions to ensure they are free from errors and appropriate for patient care.
• Dispense medications accurately according to the prescription.
• Process billing for dispensed medicines and handle cash collection.
• Inspect medicines for expiry dates and batch numbers, ensuring compliance with billing entries.
• Communicate with referring physicians’ offices for any prescription-related queries.
• Maintain an organized inventory of dispensed medications.
• Record patient history and monitor activities involving controlled substances.
• Address customer inquiries, resolving their concerns, or escalating complaints to relevant departments when necessary.
• Keep detailed records of all pharmacy transactions and ensure cash registers are updated regularly.
• Adhere to all legal and regulatory guidelines applicable to pharmacy operations.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer medical details.
