Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Costco Wholesale. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and medication management while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will significantly contribute to our mission of providing high-quality healthcare services to our members.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management.
Ensure accurate medication dispensing and administration according to established protocols.
Educate patients on proper medication use and potential side effects.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices.
Assist in managing pharmacy operations and inventory control.
Requirements
Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution and valid pharmacist license.
Strong patient care skills with a focus on customer service.
Knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
Experience in pediatrics or hospital settings is an asset but not required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
