Job Description
The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, check blisters, perform professional service (minor ailments) to optimize treatment outcomes.
Duties
Dispense prescription medications accurately in accordance with doctors’ prescriptions and legal regulations
Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
Review patient medication profiles for appropriateness, allergies, and contraindications
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify medication therapy plans
Maintain detailed records of prescriptions, patient interactions, and inventory management
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
Administer medications when required in hospital or clinical settings
Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies
Stay current with medical terminology, new medications, and industry best practices
Experience
Knowledge in Fillware paperless is preferred but can train if committed long term
Good therapeutic knowledge
Certification as a licensed Pharmacist is required
