Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles, including commercial driving, shuttle driving, and delivery services. This position requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety protocols, and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient transportation services.
Duties
Safely operate a variety of medications for transportation purposes.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Load and unload cargo as required, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur while on duty.
Assist with moving heavy equipment or freight as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when handling complex machinery.
Skills
Proven experience with a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for heavy vehicles).
Experience in shuttle driving or paratransit services is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
