The Opportunity:
We are looking for a casual Pharmacy Technician to join us at Slade Pharmacy in St. John of God Murdoch Hospital. You will be joining an innovative, multidisciplinary team of caring people delivering exceptional pharmacy services for our client hospital and their patients.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and further develop your career in a hospital pharmacy environment. Training will be provided, and we are open to aspiring community pharmacists looking to transition into the hospital pharmacy space.
Flexible casual employment arrangement: minimum availability of 1x weekend, and 1x weekday shift required every week. Opportunities available for increased hours.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products
Delivery of medications to hospital wards
Inventory control and management
Process sales transactions and assist with account queries
Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication
Support patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employees
About You
Committed to providing patient-centred pharmacy services
Dispensing experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy
Dispensary Technician Certificate or equivalent as recognised by the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Minimum availability of 1x weekday and 1x weekend shift every week
