Job description: Express Scripts is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with at least one year of experience in a retail pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Mangement (PBM) or Health Plan setting. You must be certified in OH, MO, AZ or Nationwide. Experience working in a call center is preferred.

You are required to attend 14 weeks of training (8:30-4:30 PM CST, Monday-Friday).

Shift Schedules

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST Monday-Friday

10:30 AM-7:00 PM CST Monday-Friday

11:30 AM-8:00 PM CST Monday-Friday

11:30 AM-8:00 PM CST Monday-Thursday and Saturday

11:30 AM CST-8:00 PM CST Sunday-Thursday

Responsibilities:

Translate prescriptions filled out by the prescriber and enter information in the patient’s profile in accordance with state regulations.

Quality assurance, prescriber and patient outreach and adverse event reporting.

Research current and past prescription orders

Maneuver through several different systems

Process overrides and work exceptions on prescription orders.

Serve as SME and assist with questions/issues for team members in coordination with supervisor.

May perform training assistance with training of co-workers.

Participate in Lean and continuous improvement efforts internal and external to the department.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED required, Bachelors degree preferred.

2 – 3 years relevant experience.

Valid/Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in OH, MO, AZ or Nationwide.

Basic math skills and general PC knowledge including Microsoft Office, Internet, and email required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills desired.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Ability to learn internal systems, processes and programs as needed.

Problem solving skills.

Ability to learn complex specialty therapies and processes.

Ability to handle high stress situations.

Flexible and adaptable.

Strong time management skills.

Must have experience as Patient Care Advocate.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
