Salary:
The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
Job Description:
As a Community Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. You will enter prescriptions and verify appropriate information, contact patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues, process prescriptions, resolve customer issues, meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards, fulfill prescription orders, interpret prescription orders and document interventions and track outcomes with Pharmacy team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada
2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician including insurance claims processing, rejection and resolution, knowledge of laws and regulations regarding scope of practice
Intermediate level of proficiency with computers using Windows PC applications, ability to learn new complex computer system applications
Bilingual Spanish/English
Able to stand for entire shift (8 hours)
Able to wear mask for duration of shift, if required
