Job Description
Pride Health is hiring for a Phlebotomist (Part time) to support our client’s medical facility based in Coalinga, CA. This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Responsibilities:
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
Education/Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience required.
• Active CPT License required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 am- 11:30 pm
Pay Range: $20 to $23/hr
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
