Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team. T. The primary responsibilities of this role involve precise blood collection, sample handling, and collect blood samples from patients in both clinical and home settings. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for conducting and organizing frequent corporate and public health camps.
Key Responsibilities:
Phlebotomy:
Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures accurately and efficiently.
Collect blood samples from patients of all ages, ensuring minimal discomfort.
Label and prepare samples for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Maintain a clean and sterile work environment.
Home Sample Collection:
Schedule and coordinate home visits to collect samples from patients.
Navigate various locations, including residential and corporate settings.
Interact with patients professionally and empathetically, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
Ensure timely and accurate sample collection and transportation.
Corporate and Public Health Camps:
Participate in organizing and conducting health camps at various locations.
Screen and collect samples from a large number of individuals in a fast-paced environment.
Provide health education and awareness to participants.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sample collection and patient information.
Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or certificate in Phlebotomy or Medical Laboratory Technology.
Proven experience in phlebotomy and sample collection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
