Photographer & Videographer
Job Summary
As a Videographer and Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing and producing both video and photographic content for a variety of projects. You will work closely with the creative team, directors, and clients to understand the project requirements and translate them into stunning visual content. This position requires a strong understanding of both videography and photography, with the ability to manage all aspects of production from planning to post-production
Key Responsibilities:Videography:
• Pre-Production:
• Collaborate with the creative team to plan and prepare for video shoots, including location scouting, shot lists, and equipment selection.
• Assist in brainstorming ideas for video content and ensure alignment with the client’s vision.
• Filming & Production:
• Capture high-quality video footage for various types of content, including corporate videos, social media videos, commercials, and documentary films.
• Work with lighting, sound, and camera equipment to achieve the desired visual aesthetics.
• Direct subjects, talent, and crew members on set to achieve the best shot composition and angles.
• Operate professional camera equipment, such as DSLR, mirrorless, and cinema cameras (e.g., RED, ARRI Alexa).
• Post-Production:
• Collaborate with the post-production team to review and provide input on the editing process.
• Ensure the video content aligns with the creative direction, maintains high production standards, and meets client specifications.
Photography:
• Pre-Production:
• Plan and prepare for photography sessions, including developing shot lists, selecting props, coordinating with models or talent, and determining lighting setups.
• Work closely with clients and the creative team to understand the visual style, messaging, and objectives for each photo shoot.
• Photography Sessions:
• Capture high-quality, compelling images for various projects such as corporate headshots, product photography, event photography, and brand campaigns.
• Ensure proper lighting, composition, and technical aspects (e.g., exposure, white balance) for each shot.
• Work on location or in a studio setting, adjusting setups to achieve the desired aesthetic.
• Post-Production:
• Edit and retouch images using tools like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to achieve the best results.
• Prepare final images for delivery, ensuring they meet client specifications for use across different platforms (web, print, social media).
General Responsibilities:
• Equipment Management:
• Maintain and ensure proper functioning of camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in videography and photography.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments (e.g., creative team, post-production, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Provide creative input and suggestions during brainstorming sessions, video/photo shoots, and reviews.
• Client Interaction:
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their visual needs, provide updates during the production process, and ensure satisfaction with the final product.
• Handle client requests and revisions efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of content.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in both videography and photography, preferably in the media, corporate, or advertising industries.
• Proven experience working with both video and photography in a professional environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing both mediums.
• Proficiency in camera operation, lighting setups, and audio recording for video production.
• Strong knowledge of video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and photography editing (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
• Experience with cinema cameras (RED, Canon, ARRI, Sony) and DSLRs/mirrorless cameras.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visuals.
• Expertise in composition, lighting techniques, and framing for both video and photography.
• Ability to adapt to different shooting environments (e.g., corporate settings, outdoor shoots, studios, events).
