Teach assigned coursesAdequately prepare all course materials and lessons. Note preparation time will vary based on instructor experience in teaching that courseProvide each student with clear course expectations, evaluations and timelines through carefully written topical outlines and approved, standardised syllabusProvide Interesting and relevant assignments for students that demonstrate learning outcomes in a real-life settingSuitably challenge, engage, serve and communicate with students to encourage their participation and learning while maintaining mutual value and respectComplete grade books, final grade sheets, learning assessments and final exam assessments on a timely basisRespond to student questions on a timely basisIdentify and refer at-risk students to specific academic support servicesEnsure course and program learning outcomes are delivered as defined by the syllabus.Act as a substitute as neededAttend graduation ceremonies each yearWhere applicable, ensure safety and sanitation of all labs, equipment and suppliesPost and maintain office and classroom schedulesParticipate in and provide feedback to institutional committees and reporting.Work with program chair and other appropriate groups on retention activities.Provide mentoring to new facultyAssist director of education in program evaluation and planningAttend regularly scheduled in-services and discipline specific professional development activities.Responsible to maintain credentials as required by accrediting councils/agencies and regulatory

Required Skills
Strong organisational skillsProficiency in Word and OutlookExpertise in interpersonal and oral presentation/written communication skills, as demonstrated by: data sheet, diplomas, degrees, transcripts, certifications, CVs/Resumes, and personal interview.
Required Education and Experience
Video Editor Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.Experience as a video editor or in related field.Demonstrable video editor skills with a strong portfolio.A strong eye for visual composition.Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Able to give and receive constructive criticism.Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.Experience with computer-aided design.
