Job Summary
As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems that power our eCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in building scalable applications using Laravel, integrating third-party services, and enhancing overall system architecture to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using PHP and Laravel
Customize and extend eCommerce platforms ( custom builds)
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and ensure responsive, high-performing applications
Write clean, secure, and well-documented code
Optimize application performance and database queries for high-traffic eCommerce environments
Integrate third-party tools and services including payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM, and ERP systems
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently
Participate in code reviews and contribute to system architecture decisions
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and best practices in PHP and Laravel development
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience in PHP development
Strong hands-on experience with Laravel framework
Proven experience working on eCommerce platforms or custom online stores
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integrations
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Familiarity with Git version control and deployment workflows
Knowledge of security best practices in web development
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Vue.js, React, or other frontend frameworks
Familiarity with headless commerce or PWA architecture
Knowledge of testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud hosting (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.)
Prior experience in B2C or D2C eCommerce environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,843.27 per month
