Responsibilities:
Developing, testing, and maintaining web applications and websites using PHP programming language.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and front-end developers, to ensure the integration of user interface (UI) elements with server-side logic.
Writing clean, well-designed, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshooting and debugging application issues to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
Integrating data storage solutions and databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, into the applications.
Developing and implementing efficient and secure APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for seamless data exchange with external systems.
Performing code reviews and suggesting improvements to enhance application quality and performance.
Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to PHP development.
Collaborating with the project management team to estimate and plan project timelines and deliverables.
Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance (QA) to identify and fix bugs and ensure the reliability of the applications.
Requirements:
Proficiency in PHP programming language with a strong understanding of its syntax and principles.
Experience working with web development frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with relational databases and experience working with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Understanding of version control systems, such as Git, for code collaboration and deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and debug complex issues.
Good understanding of web security principles and best practices.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, readable, and maintainable code.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
