PHP Developer
• Design and build advanced Web Applications using PHP, HTML, JS, CSS, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Contribute to the identification and adoption of technologies, tools, and industry best practices related to Web development.
Desired Candidate/ What you will need to Succeed in this role:
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven software development experience in PHP.
- Strong knowledge of PHP coding and web-based applications.
- Good understanding of object-oriented PHP programming and MVC design patterns.
- Knowledge of PHP web frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.
- Strong understanding of REST API development and OWASP security principles.
- Ability to architect enterprise solutions including data, display, and information architecture.
Good To Have Skills:
- Understanding of recommended design patterns and architectures.
- Knowledge of Open-Source CMS like Drupal, WordPress, etc.
- Understanding of caching mechanisms such as Memcached/Redis.
- Knowledge of NodeJS, Angular, React, etc. will be an added advantage.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar.
