Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Jr. PHP Developer to join our team and help us develop and maintain high-quality web applications. The candidate should have the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. The Jr. PHP Developer should be flexible enough to learn new technologies quickly and have a strong understanding of web development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and designers in creating PHP-based web applications
- Develop and maintain MySQL databases
- Debug and troubleshoot PHP code
-Develop and maintain WordPress and other CMS websites
- Integrate APIs and third-party libraries into the web applications
- Participate in code reviews and testing
- Identify and fix bugs and other performance issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in PHP web development
- Knowledge of PHP5 or PHP7, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
- Familiarity with at least one PHP framework (Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.)
- Proficient in using version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js or AngularJs (added advantage)
- Experience of working with API integration, payment gateway integration, third-party libraries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
