Software Development Engineer
Centific is a Product and Data services company working with enterprise clients. Major clients include Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle etc., We also offer end to end solutions for Lowes, UPS, Home Depot etc., in the retail vertical space using AI/ML/Computer vision. OneForma is a gig workforce platform built by Centific. In this platform, around a million freelance workers come together & offer their services for our customers. Currently we offer AI and Data services to large customers through this gig work platform. We are planning to expand the verticals and build this platform as a SaaS Platform offering for multiple verticals. You will be working in the core team in the CTO organisation to build this platform.

Job Description

Software Engineers are hands-on leaders who use technology to solve complex business problems, collaborating with team members. They are responsible for building new tools/services to solve for business problems. They have the responsibility to deliver on time using relevant best practices prevailing in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will be a software developer who loves building software, be self-directed, knows how to get things done, can lead teams, and is not afraid to take on big challenges. Individuals interested in this position should have practical experience in building high-performance, reliable systems in a complex, multi-tiered, distributed environment (Service Oriented Architecture). The ideal candidate will have experience working with PHP (Core and Laravel), jQuery, Bootstrap, VueJs, MySQL or equivalent RDMS. Experience on Azure preferred.
Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, build processes and testing.
Self-directed, ability to multi-task, sharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment.
Proven object-oriented design skills and able to find creative scalable solutions to difficult problems.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, internet security fundamentals and designing for performance, scalability, and availability
Experience in supporting high-traffic, high-throughput, distributed real-time systems and services.
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
Desired Skills

Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.
Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders.

Salary: ₹1,150,000.00 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
