About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on building web applications
2. Work on anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts
3. Work on designing and developing these applications
4. Work on coordinating with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure
Skills & Requirements:
1. Proven software development experience in PHP & MySQL
2. Strong skills in Laravel, CodeIgniter, or CakePHP framework
3. Good knowledge of creating database schemas & stored procedures that represent and support business processes
4. Knowledge of AngularJS and NodeJS would be preferable
5. Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.)
6. Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc
7. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential
8. Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas Demonstrably
+. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
10. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
11. Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
12. Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
