Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated PHP Developer with over 2 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of server-side web development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable web applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
1 Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
2 Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3 Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code following best practices.
4 Work with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL to create and manage data-driven applications.
5 Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing code for improved performance and reliability.
6 Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
7 Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements:
1 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2 2+ years of experience in PHP development.
3 Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
4 Experience working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
5 Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
6 Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub or Bitbucket).
7 Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
8 Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
1 Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
2 Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React, or Angular) is a plus.
3 Basic understanding of DevOps and deployment processes.
4 Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
