Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Developer with at least 1 year of professional experience to join our development team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand client requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications, ensuring timely resolution.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to coding standards.
Implement and integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and frameworks as required.
Optimize application performance and scalability through code optimization and database tuning.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in web development and recommend improvements for the development process.
Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
Collaborate with the testing team to ensure the quality and reliability of the developed applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in PHP web development.
Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony) is a plus.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Ability to write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
