Skills required:
PHP language: You should have a good understanding of PHP syntax, data types, functions, and control structures.
Framework: Familiarity in any PHP framework. Knowledge of Laravel is an added advantage.
Object-oriented programming: You should be familiar with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, such as classes, objects, inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism.
Web development basics: You should have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and bootstrap, as well as familiarity with popular web development frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
Database management: Working knowledge in MySQL must. You should be able to work with databases using SQL and understand how to create, read, update, and delete data from a database using PHP.
Debugging and testing: You should be able to troubleshoot code errors and implement testing techniques to ensure the quality of the code.
Collaboration and communication: As a junior developer, you will likely work closely with other team members, so good communication and collaboration skills are important.
Continual learning: The field of web development is constantly evolving, so it's important to stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends.
