WordPress Developer (3–4 Years Experience) – Mumbai / Pune / Remote (India)
Dynacube is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in theme and plugin development. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of WordPress architecture and API integrations, along with solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
We are looking for a Mumbai or Pune–based developer, though remote work within India is available for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins based on project or support requirements.
Work with documented testing of functions, integrations and workflows.
Work with WP-CLI, REST APIs, and custom integrations to enhance platform functionality.
Ensure websites are responsive, secure, optimized, and SEO-friendly.
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following WordPress standards.
Collaborate closely with designers and front-end developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing WordPress solutions.
Release of code and databses, taking backups and restoring data and code.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of professional experience in WordPress theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Hands-on experience with WP-CLI, WordPress REST API, NPM, webpack and node.js.
Solid understanding of custom post types, hooks, filters, Advanced Custom Fields and WordPress core architecture.
Experience with Git.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
Exposure to React.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with headless WordPress setups.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Location
