Role: PHP Backend Developer

Work Location: MG Road, Bangalore

Experience: 3-6 years

We are looking for a Backend Web Developer interested in building highly scalable and

performant web applications. You will be responsible for architecting and building these

applications, as well as coordinating with teams responsible for other layers of the product

infrastructure. Building a product is a highly collaborative effort, and as such, a strong team

player with a commitment to perfection is required.

Responsibilities

 Build highly scalable and blazing fast web applications.

 Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance.

 Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

 Collaborate with frontend and product teams for smooth integration between different

components of application making sure the final product is as expected and of the

highest quality.

Must-Have Skills

 Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

 Very strong knowledge and hands on experience with PHP, Laravel and mySQL to lead

the entire backend development of applications from end to end.

 Understanding of REST APIs and the best practices of doing frontend integration with it.

 Strong Communication Skills and ability to delegate tasks to junior team members

 Hands on experience with technologies like Redis, SQS, S3, Cloudfront, Elastic Search

etc is preferred.

Good-to-Have Skills

 Hunger to learn new technologies as needed

 Ability to mentor juniors and make them follow the best coding practices.

 Good to have some hands-on experience with Python and Golang

Qualifications

 Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science

 Familiarity to Agile development methodology
