Job Title: Physical Education Teacher (PET)Department: Academics / SportsReports To: Principal / Sports CoordinatorJob Summary:
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for planning and conducting physical education classes, promoting fitness, sportsmanship, and overall physical development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct physical education and sports activities as per curriculum
• Teach rules, techniques, and safety measures of various games and sports
• Organize and supervise indoor and outdoor sports activities
• Conduct physical fitness assessments and maintain records
• Ensure safety and discipline during sports and physical activities
• Identify and train students for inter-school competitions
• Maintain sports equipment and playground facilities
• Coordinate and manage sports events, annual sports day, and competitions
• Promote healthy lifestyle habits and teamwork
• Support school activities, assemblies, and discipline duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent
• M.P.Ed (preferred, if required by school norms)
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of sports rules and fitness training
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Ability to motivate and manage students
• Knowledge of first aid and safety procedures
• Physical fitness and stamina
Experience:
• Fresher or experienced candidates may apply
Working Hours:
• As per school schedule
Salary:
• As per school norms and experience

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
